Educators

The SAGE program provides a variety of
  • free workshops,
  • outreach activities
  • laboratory equipment
  • curriculum tools
to middle-school, secondary and post-secondary educators to support engineering technology education and professional development activities while meeting Massachusetts framework standards.

Workshops

Professional development workshops are offered in Green Building and the LEED Certification Process, Sustainable Technologies, and Underwater Robotics, some of which are eligible for Massachusetts Professional Development Points (PDP).

Lending Laboratory

Training can be provided for the Lending Laboratory equipment, including fuel cell cars and wind turbines, which can then be incorporated into the classroom setting.

Additional Resources

We are also currently developing our Curriculum Resources page, which collects information on many aspects of emerging Sustainable and Alternative Energy systems.

Educators also have access to BCC's Green Technology course offerings, including Intro. to SAGE Technologies and Intro to Green Building Practices.

To learn more about previous or upcoming workshops, or about the Lending Lab equipment, explore the links to the right. To keep appraised of all SAGE activities, join our mailing list!
